Simple Overview
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is a central government scheme that gives small and marginal farmers ₹6,000 every year. The money is sent in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each — directly into the farmer's bank account. Step-by-Step Application Process
- 1Visit pmkisan.gov.in or nearest CSC
Go to the official PM Kisan portal online, or visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) if you don't have internet access.
- 2Click 'Farmer's Corner' → 'New Farmer Registration'
On the home page, find the Farmer's Corner section and click New Farmer Registration.
- 3Enter your Aadhaar number and OTP
Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and select your state. An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
- 4Fill the registration form carefully
Enter personal details, land details from your Khatoni, and bank account information. Ensure all spellings match your documents exactly.
- 5Submit and save your reference number
After submitting, save your registration reference number for tracking your application status.
- 6Complete e-KYC verification
Log in to the PM Kisan portal and complete e-KYC using your Aadhaar OTP, or visit a CSC centre. This is now mandatory to receive payments.
